Mixed story maps 2d/3d and how to deal with polar story maps .

need to use proj4leaflet and polar stereographic most likely.. use case might be needed for polar cap 3d mapping

A purely 3d story map (threejs or so) with DOM or 3d-geomodels could work, but also a mixed one, in which the different stops (e.g. form the TOC, no necessarily all simultaneously accessible from the viewport) are either 2d or 3d.
