Welcome to your new gem! In this directory, you'll find the files you need to be able to package up your Ruby library into a gem. Put your Ruby code in the file lib/stack_master_json_parameter_store
. To experiment with that code, run bin/console
for an interactive prompt.
TODO: Delete this and the text above, and describe your gem
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'stack_master_json_parameter_store'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install stack_master_json_parameter_store
If your parameter called /aws/service/ecs/optimized-ami/amazon-linux/recommended
and you want to use the value of the image_id
key. For example:
{
"schema_version": 1,
"image_name": "amzn-ami-2017.09.l-amazon-ecs-optimized",
"image_id": "ami-2d386654"
}
You use the json_parameter_store_resolver
with the format <parameter path>#<JMESPath>
where #
is used to separate the two paths.
Example:
AmiId:
json_parameter_store_resolver: /aws/service/ecs/optimized-ami/amazon-linux/recommended#image_id

. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
