Since the docs are all written in Markdown, could this project adopt a linting tool?
This inconsistency could be eliminated easily:

There are two popular markdown linting tools (CLI) on GitHub for the moment, either is useful:

markdownlint/markdownlint (Ruby)
DavidAnson/markdownlint (JavaScript)
