Changing locales leaves graphics artifacts in the navbar title #1629
Comments
Since it affects both sims, I'll transfer this issue to graphing-lines. |
I cannot reproduce this on macOS 14.4.1 + Chrome/Safari/Firefox (latest). @KatieWoe Can you please investigate whether this is a problem with other sims? I suspect that it is, because there is nothing sim-specific involved here. Please also clarify whether you see the artifacts only with the navbar title, or whether there are other artifacts. |
I do see it published sims. So far I've only seen it on the nav bar, but the graphics seem to go away when the dialog closes and it blocks most sim text |
Transferring this to scenery, and assigning to @jonathanolson. Since this is occurring in other published sims, and does not impact usability, it is not blocking for phetsims/graphing-lines#142. |

Problem description
For phetsims/qa#1067 and phetsims/qa#1066, but likely more general.
When switching locales, there may be some graphics left behind by the old text. Can be seen by the title in the nav bar
