For phetsims/qa#1080.
When I clicked the "more photons" checkbox on the Photons screen, the photons sound remains the same. I'm not sure if this was an intentional sound design choice. Although, I expected the photons sound to be either faster paced or another change in sound to signify that there are more visible photons on the screen.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure we discussed this and decided not to do anything about it when working on the sound design, because the "More Photons" checkbox is purely a visual feature.
The goal of the "More Photons" representation is to better demonstrate the density of the photons throughout the atmosphere. The reason we choose to display fewer photons by default is to better allow users to visually track what happens to the IR photons (absorption/emission) as they travel throughout the atmosphere.
There is nothing fundamentally different when "More Photons" is checked. The surface temperature and all else remain equal. Changing the sound could imply otherwise, so I'm inclined to do nothing here. Closing.
