I think this organization's best bet moving forward will be language servers, as it reduces the problem of needing to maintain complex solutions for each individual editor. Especially in light of the EPIC maintainer's comment of Perhaps we can start by making lists of the features provided by the editor specific projects (e.g. EPIC, Padre, IntelliJ Perl, vim-perl) and ensure we have those features available in language servers? There may be opportunities to repurpose some of the EPIC code as well to be made available to other editors. |

I did some tests on Ubuntu with the Eclipse Epic plugin and there seems to be some bugs (maybe it works better on Windows?)
