Expected Behavior

Ability for user to add notes in an auto-generated screen to help remind them what a given device or signal is.

Finer points that need answering, were we to implement this:

  • Where would these notes be shown?
  • How would these persist, if at all?
  • How would this relate to the Confluence-backed user notes?

I imagined this might more naturally fall under LUCID, and live inside the LUCID config (since the relevant info might be hutch-specific).

It was suggested that this information be displayed in a tooltip to save on space. Perhaps we find a way to make the tooltip display an edit-field for faster note taking?
