Extended search (doesn't save prefs, neither highlights)

I always have an issue with names ("titles") being matched since I only search for comments. I always need to tick "extended search" and then click on "main". After doing it, the highlight which is shown during a default search, is not present if selected either titles or main.

Would be great to have the preference chosen, and highlighted.
