Marketplace fails to load #1808

Describe the bug
The marketplace fails to load

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Install PD in a fresh linux mint virtual machine
Wait untill it's fully synced
Click on the marketplace widget
It keeps loading
cmd shows error code screenshot attached
Reinstalled PD > Same behavior
Reinstalled VM > Same behavior
Expected behavior
PD loads the MP and all the other options become available

  • OS: Linux Mint 20.2 Uma
  • Particl Desktop: See screenshot
  • Particl Core: See screenshot

Thanks for reporting. Just for the record and for what it's worth, running Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa here and not getting this issue.

Hi Cryptoguard,

Any idea why this happens? I did a clean install of both Linux mint and particl PD.

@peddles Could you perhaps please provide the following additional info:

  1. Which installation file you used to do the install with?
  2. Whether there was anything about the installation that might have been done differently? For example, if using the .zip file then possibly whether this was not extracted first.
  3. Whether the destination location of the installed files is on a shared or remote network drive?

1 > I downloaded the file from github V3 005
2 > I download the file > unzip it in CMD with the unzip command > run the file
3 > It's placed in a virtual hard drive so it should be seperated > I created 2 fedora machines in the same way and it has no issue whatsoever.

I just now created a new vm with a new install and my cmd shows that the database does not exists i attached a screenshot
