Missing AbortController #17

It seems that AbortController is relatively recent and doesn't work on a few important browsers (i.e. anything that's not up to date) and IE 11 doesn't even have fetch...
Maybe we need to tell people to use a different browser?

https://www.npmjs.com/package/abort-controller but maybe we should just switch to unfetch or something...
