It's possible to use a README.md file on wordpress.org, and I think it'd be worth doing so for this project.

This will eliminate the need for the grunt build process and managing those dependencies (grunt and grunt-wp-readme-to-markdown) , and (of course) remove the duplicate readme from the repo.
