V3 and V4 brings a number of key features, including additional matching rules, interaction styles (such as req/res messages) and support for plugins.

This work will include transitioning Python to the Rust Core (https://github.com/pact-foundation/pact-reference/blob/master/rust/)

V4 support is now available in Python: https://github.com/pact-foundation/pact-python
