[Feature] Desktop UI/UX #3248
Comments
Right column displays some important info like path status and allows the user to toggle light mode and dark mode, we might move this is in the future but would require a redesign, probably to bring desktop closer to the current mobile designs. Agree that the width of the "Messages" section should be adjustable within some bounds (could potentially collapse as with Telegram) |
Is there anyone on your development team who is aware of the rational use of space when designing user interfaces? |
which member needs a separate “night/day” mode button placed in a separate column if it is used. Once during the entire existence of the program on the computer. Do you think it’s funny for anyone to click it here and there every time they enter the program? And if the program takes the value of the “day/night” theme following the settings in the system. Its existence as a separate button on a separate column becomes meaningless. |
Let's admit, you added the "night/day" mode button just to maintain symmetry in the column. This whole column is your inadequacy as interface designers. And you’re still fucking trying to object to me. |
Is there an existing request for feature?
What feature would you like?
The interface needs reworking. Firstly, you cannot change the ratio of the “list” of contacts and “chat”. Square autarks carry more information.
Why the word “messages” - why does it take up space? If instead you can place a settings button and a “messages” button, which will be useful to exit the settings
the very first column on the left has no right to exist at all
