I had decided to drive home from shopping, but use a longer route to warm-up the motor a bit more.
Having set up the home position, navigation started normally, but I left the route after about 500 meters.
I did not pay much attention to the navigation screen (as I knew the route anyway), but suddenly the display announced that I'm almost home when I wasn't!
It seems as if the navigation ran some kind of simulation mode, following the planned route, while I was driving a different one.
Then after some more hundred meters, the position suddenly updated to the actual one, and from there on navigation worked as expected.
Steps to reproduce
Unsure how: The mobile phone should have had a valid GPS position, because GPS was on for a long time.
Also: So far I usually followed the suggested routes.
Actual result
OsmAnd shows a moving map with a position that is not the actual one.
Distance from correct route was more than 100 meters, maybe 200 meters (while in town, i.e. <= 50km/h).
Expected result
When departing from the planned route, there should be a notification and an update to the actual route being taken.
At least much sooner as observed.
