Confirming payment only on php 7.4

The plugin only gets the callback/confirms payment on PHP 7.4. I have thoroughly tested it on 8.0,8.1 and 8.2 and it gets stuck on confirming payment even after the message come through.

Is there and updated version that works with the lates PHP given 7.4 has reached its EOL and is now incompatible with a lot of other plugins?
