Custom hook to retrieve user's groups after sign-in with Google

Hello, I am looking into using Kratos to implement authentication for internal webapps at my company.
I have two requirements:

1. Users should authenticate with their company Google account; this is covered by social sign-in features of Kratos;
2. I need to retrieve the groups the user belongs to; other auth solution, such as Dex, automatically add the user's groups to the id token (see their docs). As I understand, Kratos does not provide this feature.

After reading the docs, it looks to me that it would be possible to use hooks to implement similar functionality. It is not clear to me if it is possible to implement custom ones, though. Is it possible? If yes, is there any example I could look into?
