Hey @sethdavis512! Thanks for snooping around and starting some conversations. I've been thinking about this myself, and I think @grantnorwood has some opinions too. At the very minimum, I'd love for this site to be a nice single page with good SEO to drive more organic traffic to the meetup. Seems like there are ideas to include blogs as well, which could be cool, but definitely warrants further discussion around how we would want to do that.

Oh yeah, for sure! I'll grant you permission now. We don't have many rules at the moment, eventually I'd like to get to a place where it's pretty obvious what needs to be done via issue. I'd say at this point just create an issue with a description of what you're wanting to do along with PR if it's no trouble, will just help a bit with setting precedent |

I want to discuss what we want to do for content creation. @KarenDouglas brought up a few great "post" ideas, such as "why you should present" or "Why you should attend the meetup" I think these are really great, and I imagine we'll want a lot more posts and written content on this sight. Building each of these pages in HTML probably isn't the best way to go. Definitely a big fan of the idea of using mdx. Remix does support

FYI, I heard back from Sanity on OSS licenses, and we can apply! Details here: We do need to choose a license for our repo, and I’m terrible at knowing which one is best for any project. Happy to get some input on the correct license to use … |

Remix uses an MIT license, as does React Router and Remix Auth. I've heard it's usually best to follow one's community standards. My two cents! |

Sweet! Thanks Grant. And yeah, I think that CoC should be great. Can't imagine why someone would mind us using their Code of Conduct since they whole point of them is to encourage good behavior in a shared project |

What will the initial approach be for this site? A bunch of
