I'm excited to share what we are building for EthForAll. But before I delve deep into that, lemme share what motivated us to build StudySurf :)
"With the advent of COVID, E-Learning has become the new norm. Online classes and assignments have become a part & parcel of everyone in academia. Unfortunately, this alone has amplified the rate ofplagiarism in homework and assignment submissions. That being said, enforcing academic honesty has become a nightmare for educators worldwide." — We aim to pioneer a revolutionary project product or rather a tool that helps teachers and students improve the online learning experience by ensuring strict restriction on plagiarism fueled by bleeding-edge Machine Learning algorithms & Web 3.0 technologies. Thus, we built StudySurf! ✨
As of now, the current status of the project involves the completion of the MVP. Besides, we're also incorporating a lot of valuable features which will help facilitate the whole process of the app. Currently, the main customer of our application is (expectedly) institutional centers & private teaching bodies. StufySurf helps save a lot of time, especially for teachers. We have designed our own custom algorithm for plagiarism detection among a pool of submitted documents, which effectively caters to the need of teachers by providing detailed analysis of the same that were submitted by students. Our application will be GDPR compliant since all of the computations are being performed on-device before returning the inference to the client. Both teacher and students will have different flows, & we'll gather minimal identifying info, respecting privacy & safety.
We're aiming to plug "Push" for triggering notifications from the teachers end to the students end, so that it can help the teacher seamlessly communicate with those "nasty" students. 😝 [Although, I'll prefer to use a backdoor if my teacher somehow starts using it in near future. 😜]
P.S. → Since we're building this as a product & we're planning to scale this further in near future, we'll fuse a subscription model (pay-as-you-go) to generate revenue out of it which can ensure the scalability of our system. Please feel free to add your feedback! 🚀
