Create fork of abandoned or non responsive repos?

There are several repositories out there that are currently part of the official std-lib which are not actively (or at least visibly) maintained.

To provide active support to (and receive help from) the community, should we create forks of those repos here?

If there is interest in these, which repositories would be eligible to fork?

Keep the EIP one, I have not done a lot so far, however I am still using it in classes and will update more often in the Future 😊
