Interesting. I already have a repo I was planning on using as the canonical. I can chuck that for a fork of gitpan, but gitpan is read-only; we would still need a writable copy. I think we'd want to clone gitpan down and then upload it into the perl-ide space, making that the canonical copy. I (and anyone else interested) could fork that and submit PRs against it. I assume that if I add the repo to perl-ide I'd be the only one who could merge PRs at first? |

I didn't realize you already have a copy of the repo, so what you already have may well be better than the GitPan repo, which is just a snapshot of different releases. It's a nice fallback if you don't have access to the original. |

I have (or should have) the commit bit for https://metacpan.org/pod/Devel::ptkdb. I made a whole bunch of changed 10 years ago, got the commit bit and then left it all behind a corporate firewall. Does it make sense to try and resurrect all that here in Perl IDE?
