Need help with Snapcast

I am trying to get Snapcast working with Music Assistant, so far I have done the following:

1. Installed Music Assistant (can successfully stream music via a Chromecast). HA ip is 192.168.140.230
2. Installed Snapcast server on a debian VM (ip is 192.168.140.168)
3. Configured Snapcast server via Music Assistant (set ip as 192.168.140.168 and port as 1705)
4. Installed Snapcast client on the same VM.
5. Installed Snapclient on a Raspberry Pi.
6. I can see the two clients in the Snapcast server GUI.
7. I can get a test audio file to play if I use the following snapserver.conf:

However, I am stuck at this point. How do I correctly link MA and Snapcast? The Snapcast client on the VM shows up in MA as "Not yet available", and if I select the RPi and try play a song, I get "No playable items found".

Can anyone please point out where I am going wrong? 🙏

Did you try and use the built in snap server?

I'm not too sure where I was going wrong, but eventually got it working with both external and built-in server. May have just needed a restart of all devices. Really great piece of software, working so well! :)
