My understanding from reading up on the topic was that squeezelite (https://github.com/sle118/squeezelite-esp32) should be able to be controlled and synced. What am I doing wrong?
Both players are using an AI thinker Audio kit V2.2 board using the headphone jack output with a fresh install of squeezeliteESP32 on it.
EDIT:- Ignore the above, I was able get the sync working correctly. I had missed off the option to tick the squeeze players as an option when creating the player group.
However, (2) does seem to be intended. When the 'group' player is powered on, you cannot use the individual players without first unpowering the group one. For me, this also generates an error in the UI when I unpower the group one:-
'set object has no attribute set'.
But it still seems to work.
