The ORC license's final version is released #5

I have browsed it and seems pretty well suited for TTRPG. As said there, the final version is already there and there are no further changes. But I wonder about the minimal freedoms you have with a work covered under that license, which seams clearer for CC family of licenses. For example, any work under the CC family allows redistribution of the work and change of formats, which is pretty convenient for me, as I start by converting the game from text/PDF to a wiki, just for reference and then I made changes and create my own spin of the work. That was what I did with Vivarium, my SciFi variation on your excellent Firelights. With ORC and the reserved material provision, it is not clear for me if starting with such "wikification" process is even possible (i.e. legal). Seems that such wiki iteration "would be" kept private until a sufficient enough variant emerge from it, which, while being far from the CC ideal it is understandable. |

I've been very eager to start using this license for third party content (not just systems and mechanics, but also lore and setting information) and now the final version has been released and is ready to use.
