failing to use anaconda dev container for Jupyter

I'm trying to setup the anaconda dev container for Jupyter labs use and am failing.
If I uncomment the ports line in the json file, the container fails to rebuild.
I've been looking for a discord channel to try to debug my process, (or just level up my docs-fu) but have come up empty.
So this is a call to general kenobi, "you're my only hope"

and it's working pretty well. I just really enjoy my dev container experience with python in general.

My end goal is to be able to add improvements to the README file, for the bragging rights.
But I'd also like to get this going because I'd like to make it easy for my friends who are learning python.
