I was able to get some information for you... On-premises deployment is not actually required for customers to achieve GDPR compliance with Deepgram. Typically, customers need a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with specific clauses, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), which Deepgram's standard DPA includes. Some EU customers may have an additional requirement that all data must be processed within the EU. While this is not a legal requirement, some businesses demand it for compliance. For these customers, on-premises deployment is currently the only option. |
