Hi!
I have a Stripe Connect account that i would like to connect to GitHub Sponsors rather than creating a new one.
Is there a method to do it?
I can only see the button for creating a new id, rather than connecting to an existing account

Hi @easedeath, we haven't fouond a way to connect an existing Stripe Connect account to GitHub Sponsors. We are seeing if there is a workaround.

Hey @anjuan, I just setup my sponsors account with using the email that i used for my main id (stripe express account). And now, in the stripe dashboard of my main id, I can see two github sponsors account connected. Does that mean that it is linked to a single stripe express id?

Does that mean it in the total payout ammount, it will show the cumulative amount of both the ids?

@easedeath Have you tried reaching out to Stripe Support? If not, I recommend you do so and mention that you’re asking about an existing Stripe Connect account that you want to associate with GitHub Sponsors, to ensure you reach the right team.
