I found this API: https://api.github.com/emojis
The keys of the JSON it returns are the GitHub emoji shortcodes, but I have nowhere to get
the Unicode of these characters.
The codepoints in the image names, like
2764.png
, are not complete. For example the red heart ❤️ in Unicode isU+2764 U+FE0F
, it only shows2764
; the rainbow flag 🏳️🌈 is composed byU+1F3F3 U+FE0F U+200D U+1F308
in Unicode, but in the API it's only1f3f3-1f308.png
. The ZWJ and variation selectors are omitted.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
