API for converting issues to discussions

Do we have an API to convert an issue to a discussion?

I searched the REST API docs but unable to find it.
And I searched the GraphQL API schema but only found createDiscussion to create a new discussion and there seems no mutation for converting an issue to a discussion.

Just wondering if it's possible to convert an issue to a discussion in programmatic way? Thank you!
