I was searching for a repo on my iphone in safari. I typed in my search and hit enter. And I got exceeded secondary rate limit. Is github rate limiting itself. I was not logged in and I don't think I've ever even done this on my phone.

GitHub uses secondary rate limiting to prevent excessive usage from affecting its servers. This limit can be triggered not only by actions from a single device but also by other users sharing the same IP address. Make sure that you are have working internet connection and that you are logged on the GitHub account. Remember that GitHub is a large platform and such problems happen every day for trivial reasons that is why sometimes you just have to wait and try again.
