☕️ Default JDK 17

By popular demand, JDK 17 will become the default version starting from June 10, 2024. JDK 17 meets the requirements of recent Android Gradle Plugin versions.

Other popular LTS versions (JDK 8, 11, and 21) are still installed and can be used as before without long install times.

Setting a Different Java Version

In this example, we’re setting the Java version to 11 in the codemagic.yaml file:
