Hello everyone!

At the 2022 OpenMDAO Workshop we discussed, among many other things, ways of improving communication throughout the OpenMDAO community.

We've decided to try out Github's Discussions feature to let users communicate with each other, share ideas and solutions to problems, get help from the developers and community, and to show off the amazing work you are all doing with the software.

This might be a better way to ask for help or suggest ideas than posting issues in some cases.
And it should allow users to ask more open-ended questions that are typically not allowed on stack overflow.

We hope you find this useful and that it helps to make us all more productive.
