Only returns first attribute

Here is an example of the XML file i'm trying to parse. It is every book in the bible broken down in the BIBLEBOOK key and each chapter/verse there after. this is only Genesis 1:1-3 but there are 66 books and PLENTY of Chapters and Verses.

When I use the above code I get the first chapter of each book. If I remove the [CHAPTER] I only get the first book of the bible. I also can't seem to then iterate over or access the VERS values.
