Forcing ZFS to flush/sync data to disks sooner #12798
-
0.8.3-1ubuntu12.13 I want to know if it's possible to force ZFS to flush/sync data to the backing disks sooner than what I'm seeing. No matter what I do with the ZFS config, ZFS appears to take between 60-90 seconds to commit new data to the disks. I have modified the following settings with apparently no effect: --- ZFS options --- --- ZPOOL settings --- I don't mind if it takes a few seconds, but I don't want 60+ seconds before ZFS begins to commit data. Any help here is greatly appreciated. |

Figured it out... it was an intermediate caching process that was obscuring the results. All good now. |
