What have you built previously?

GitHub profile

I built HNSSearch. The frontend is open source on GitHub.

What will you be building? Why is that a valuable open source contribution to Handshake?

My proposal involves integrating an AI-powered chat function into HNSSearch (on a separate page). This will be achieved by training privateGPT with comprehensive Handshake-related data collected by HNSSearch and additional relevant content from non-Handshake websites such as official Handshake sites, helper platforms, and documentation.

This enhancement will significantly improve the user experience on HNSSearch, allowing for more interactive and efficient information retrieval. It provides immense value to the Handshake community by simplifying access to information and fostering greater engagement.

This will make it so that you can search for anything Handshake-related in one place and receive a comprehensive answer. 😊

What are the completion criteria?

The project will be deemed complete when:

  • The AI model is fully trained with Handshake-related data.
  • The chat function is successfully integrated and operational on a dedicated page (e.g., gpt.hnssearch.io or chat.hnssearch.io).
  • The entire codebase, along with the trained AI model, is made publicly available.

When will this be completed? (max 4 weeks)

The project's timeline is estimated to be 3 to 4 weeks from the commencement of development.
