Steps to reproduce

  1. open gait2354_simbody model
  2. in the Navigator tab, right click on Markers and select "Load from file"
  3. choose gait2354_Scale_MarkerSet.xml file
  4. open Scale Tool
  5. leave "Add markers from file" empty (because model already has markers)

  6. in the "Marker data for measurements", select subject01_static.trc file
    image
  7. in the "Scale Factor" tab, select "Edit Measurement Set"
  8. select two markers (e.g. R.ASIS, L.ASIS) to define a measurement (e.g. pelvis)

Expected result

When I select the marker set file:

The paired markers are in white:

Actual result

When I use the model's markers instead of the marker set file in the scale tool, the paired markers are in red:

This is merely a visualization issue, and the tool works very well (no error nor warning). But, since the markers exist in both trc file and the model, they shouldn't be in red.

Hope I explain it properly.
