Date: 20 Nov 2017

Attendees: Graham Triggs, Marijane White, Mike Conlon, Christian Hauschke, Juliane Schneider

Agenda: Pick up where we left off last time.

Mike: We left off with a need to create a branch from development in which we could do work. I haven't heard anything about that, whether it's been created yet, Graham have you heard anything yet?

Graham: I have not.

Mike: Is there any reason we need to wait?

Graham: No, there's no reason, we can set it up pretty quickly, I just thought Javed was going to handle it.

Mike: I think there was some uncertainty about the structure of it. It was supposed to be related to develop.

Graham: Yes, it should not be a problem.

Mike: And we were a little unclear about what we were supposed to call it, generically or specifically or something.

Graham: Yeah, I'm not sure.

Juliane: Hi, this is Juliane.

Mike: Hello. Juliane and Marijane, do you have an update on the eagle-i situation? There was an email thread about convening or something?

Marijane: I talked to Melissa, and I have two ideas, either we can try to have a meeting with Shahim and all the stakeholders, or I can have a one-on-one meeting with him where he can walk me through the process, and then once I've learned how it all works I can help the Harvard folks get unstuck. I am also thinking, once I get the NLighten ontology settled, I can use some of my NLighten time to really sit down and figure out how eagle-i works, because I haven't really had the opportunity to do that yet.

I am not entirely sure what's wrong, if it's with the extraction process or the build process, perhaps Juliane can speak to that.

Juliane: I spent a lot of time working on it with Sophia last time I was in Boston, I believe it's not building ero.owl.

Mike: To clarify for the VIVO people on the call, this issue is about tools we do not use in the VIVO process.

Note from Javed, he is home with his sick son, and apparently there was a miscommunication, he was waiting for Graham to create a feature branch. I can do that, or Graham can.

Graham: OK, I'll create that.

Mike: Ok, if you can create that and tell us what it's named, that would be great.

Marijane: Do we have anything to talk about today, if Javed's not here?

Mike: No, I just wanted to clarify that once we have a feature branch, we can straighten out the files we're delivering with VIVO.
