What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. setup Asterisk 1.8.7.0
2. setup red5 0.9.1-1
3. setup red5phone r54

secret = pas123
when connecting with password get an error 401 Unauthorized.

secret =
when connected with an empty password is OK.

archlinux 3.0-ARCH

SIP peer problem it seems. Do you have an extension with the correct username 
and password configured in your SIP.conf file under asterisk. Make sure that 
the authentication and server details that you provide are correct and point to 
the asterisk server.

when connecting with a password for example x-lite or Twinkle - everything is 
fine.
but red5phone problem.

when I do the password empty - all connected properly.
