scholarLY should be able to accept new custom modes beyond just draft and final. These could be triggered by [mode=some-mode]. This key-value option would actually be an extension of custom mode (basically like draft and final already are), so it could still be simply turned off by invoking default mode as usual.

The idea to do this was triggered by the use of a similar system (not yet implemented) on the LilyPond side with openLilyLib.
