Proposal
Topic of the session
A comparative discussion of the vis.gl and three.js projects, focusing on their technical architectures and ecosystems. Each project has a different history, with different goals and abstractions chosen to suit those goals. Each has evolved within the web platform, as features like WebAssembly and WebGPU have become available. This talk aims to present differences and similarities in an open-ended format — including some pros and cons, but more importantly hoping to start conversations about current challenges in ways that neither project might have tried before.
