@domi4484 I would also like to use the Document Management System for referencing URLs. My specific use case would be images and videos primarily, but it might also be nice to reference other file types and possibly html documents (websites) as well. At a minimum, to be able to open the system viewer if thumbnail support for this is problematic.
Do you have any thoughts on how this might be achieved?
The more we go, the more we will reference files directly as URLs, like
https://www.pully.ch/media/2427312/aeguisan3_20210804au20210902.pdf
or
https://ged.pully.ch:443/app/linkto/q4pYYWfDaYS
QGIS does badly propose widgets for that specific type of format, would it be a QGIS enhancement required or do we want a mixed document/url approach.
Or Propose an URL widget type?
