Going through the Levant data I've seen a lot of e.g. "Talks begin here today regarding....". The "here" is easy if you can see the dateline, but that's been lost in most cases. In the future, could we take the dateline (using either capitalization rules or checking if it's a place name) and plop that in for the "here" in the first sentence? I think that would really help the geocoding.

Should be possible. Goose might be able to take care of some of this. If not, identifying the dateline would be useful for other applications.
