Error when using autocomplete option "Starts with"

Steps to reproduce:

• Go to a form display management page for a content type that has a SKOS Concept Reference field;
• Edit the widget of the SKOS field and chose "SKOS Concept Autocomplete" and then " Autocomplete matching" to be "Starts with";
• Save;
• Try to create a content and fill the SKOS field
• Notice it won't show any option;
• In the page admin/reports/dblog, notice there is an error, something like this:
