Firm Name

Axim

Urgency

Low (2 weeks)

Problem/Request

I noticed that the openedx-events and openedx-filters PyPI packages are still owned by the edunext PyPI user instead of the openedx PyPI user.

The following needs to happen in order.

  1. Work with edunext to add openedx as a maintainer.
  2. Remove the PYPI token override in both repo action secrets.
  3. Remove the edunext user as a maintainer of both PyPI packages

Reasoning

The packages are a part of the Open edX Project and should be maintained by us rather than edunext.

@mariajgrimaldi @felipemontoya I noticed this last week, can y'all help me by adding the openedx PyPI user as an owner for the two packages on PyPI?

Awesome, I've updated the PyPI ownership and removed the PYPI_UPLOAD_TOKEN override. This should now release with the default org PYPI_UPLOAD_TOKEN. Closing this ticket.
