The term 'satellite' is a term coined in the IPMI specification with a very general definition. The term usage today, where it is conceivable to have actual satellites in management hierarchy may cause confusion.

The MCTP Specification defines the terms 'management controller' and 'managed device'.

Suggestions: subordinate, managed device controller.

Didn't like "subordinate". How about "auxiliary controller"?
