I guess you are referring to some opensuse documentation - could you post a link? |
Sorry if I was not clear about the request. Opensuse does not allow for an easy switch from the production branch to the New feature branch without doing it "the hard way". hm - it seems that "the hard way" doesn't provide an rpm but uses some .run file. |
Yes, It uses the official run file provided by NVidia. |

Opensuse seems very slow to rollout NVIDIA Drivers. It even skips 555 entirely and now we are waiting for 560

A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
Is it possible to use OPI to install the NVIDIA feature branche drivers and be more up to date without having to resort to using "The hard way" to install the drivers (as they call it). And possible break your install on kernel updates.
