Community members may wish to review this issue: opencardev/crankshaft#680. dash has the same failure symptoms (based on a build of the current "develop" branch). It looks like an issue with recent versions of the AA app on the phone, and no solution is known other than to downgrade to an earlier version of that app.

For some additional debugging info, I can run AA 12.7.643414-release on an LGE LM-G900 on a modified version of openDsh/openauto via debug server TCP, USB or wireless.
I just tried a version of Crankshaft I had running ~2 months ago via USB and had the same issue with "Lock" on the top left. The phone said it was connected to AA so I assume it was just video routing. I haven't had a chance to debug it properly yet.
Some Crankshaft users report success with AA 12.7.643414-release, but that version fails for me with both Crankshaft and OpenDsh. I don't know what the difference is. My phone is a Pixel 6a with current security updates.
