The main differences are:

project language - python vs rust
hooks system - here we can create any hooks easily in your own project configuration
custom templates as separate files, instead of embeding in config
custom headers/footers per version - not one for all
artificial commit changes - to document changes which were not introduced as commits

What is missing but would be nice to have here:

use of pyproject.toml configuration - Allow configure through pyproject.toml #17
docker image to run without instalation
github workflow integration
