Demo Meeting - 26/07/2022

We had a great set of demos this week at our weekly demo meeting.

Rob and Nate demo'd their virtual world platform, and talked a bit about some of the challenges involved, such as performance, while discussing animation systems.

Codefrau demonstrated Croquet's Microverse, and talked about state synchronisation using an event driven system using deterministic behaviours. (a lot of fascinating discussion on the underlying construction of their platform!)

Jin demonstrated some work on avatar wearables/pets, and a common component system designed for content that could be interoperable between worlds, demo'ing the same content in both webaverse and VRChat.

Demo meetings are every other week and we invite people to come along and show what they are building, and some of the challenges they have been facing getting there.
