OMI Media Sync 05/05/23

The media team met today to discuss some of our blockers, and past processes. This meeting was intended to get aligned on what the Media team and our efforts look like moving forward.

• Syndication and raising awareness (re-posting)
• Content Automation
  • Marry our production strategy with a clear automation strategy that MTV could oversee/maintain
    • something goes wrong, who do you alert (mrmetaverse)
    • if we need to do strategic planning who do you ask for help?

which channels are we going to maintain and which are we archiving?

  • get the moderators added
  • create a playlist or playlists to federate our community content.

  • would love a discord bot we can message that will post tweets on our behalf
  • twitter posts should really just be announcing upcoming events and blogs

  • gives us a free RSS feed which can go back to our website
  • can auto cross-post from twitter
• reddit?
  • I have admin of r/openmetaverse
• bluesky?

• community members giving talks, like Julians upcoming Mapping the Metaverse talk
• World Hopping Metatraversal portal crawls
• M3 events
• Demo Days!
