O3DE 22.05.0 About this Release
O3DE 22.05.0 is a the first major release of O3DE in 2022. The previous release was the 21.11.2 point release (Jan 27, 2022). The previous major release was 22.11.1 (Dec 2, 2021). O3DE 22.05.0 differs from previous releases in that it is the first release that is part of the O3DF SIG-Release release strategy to release 2 releases per year (roughly April, October). The release will contain all of the features in the dev branch as of April 4, 2022 12:00 Pacific time.
